Meet the Team at LTC Performance Strategies
Larry Comp
Larry Comp serves as LTC’s CEO and Chief Innovation Officer and oversees all projects related to Total Compensation Solutions for the 800+ clients we have served across industry. This has included hundreds of initiatives related to Executive Compensation, Board Compensation, Nonqualified Deferred Compensation, Company-wide Goalsharing and Gainsharing Incentive Programs, “Hot Skills” Programs, Long-term Equity, Phantom Equity and Cash Plans; Sales Compensation, Reasonable Compensation Analysis, Salary Management and Performance & Career Development Programs.
Larry taught Compensation for UCLA and is co-author of the following books: “Executive Compensation for Today’s CEOs and Business Owners,” “Executive Compensation for Todays Human Resources Leader” and “Executive Compensation for Private Company CEOs and Business Owners.” He is a long-time member of his Vistage Trusted Advisors Group. Larry holds Series 6, 63 & Life & Health licenses. Prior to joining LTC, Larry held leadership roles with Baxter International, Nissan Motor Corporation and Babcock & Wilcox. He earned his Master’s in Human Resources Management and has been recognized as a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). He continues to serve as a member of the Compensation Committee for a prominent ESOOP and previously served as a Director for a nationally recognized financial services corporation.
Terry Lauter Comp
Terry Lauter Comp is a founding principal of LTC, with 25+ years’ experience as a Corporate HR Vice President, national/international consultant, graduate/undergraduate business instructor, author, and community leader. She serves as Practice Leader for Performance Development and Training solutions and Employee Engagement.
Terry has an extensive background in re-engineering individual performance appraisal systems and developing/implementing customized Performance & Growth Systems linked to company performance. She has had an opportunity to play an integral role in planning and implementing large-scale culture change initiatives in forward-thinking organizations. She has been recognized as a pioneer in the area of Open Book Management and Business Literacy, an innovative and proven means of building an engaged workforce and a culture of accountability. She has assisted many of our clients in developing a “Corporate University” and has designed, developed and/or facilitated curriculums and programs for organizations across industry. Terry supports clients in assessing development needs and designing and facilitating customized programs and performance solutions. She also works with client organizations in developing and implementing simple, practical tools for communicating with employees effectively in order to improve productivity, culture, and organizational value. Her integrated communication programs and tools have won wide acclaim. Terry is co-author of the book: Think Inside the Box: The Secret to Partnering with Your Employees to Drive Growth and Profit.” Terry has taught countless management courses as a Corporate Executive, HRD consultant and university instructor. She was recognized for her teaching excellence at the University of Redlands. Terry received her MA degree in Educational Psychology, Learning & Instruction from UCLA and has been accredited as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.
Norb Garrett
Norb Garrett serves as LTC Performance’s Managing Director. He joined LTC in September 2021, initially, as the company’s Growth Consultant focused on optimizing business’ capabilities and ensuring client satisfaction and efficiencies. As Managing Director, Norb directs LTC strategies & operations while providing their clients with real-world consulting services alongside LTC’s team of professional consultants.

Norb has 25+ experience as a senior executive and entrepreneur, having worked for businesses of all sizes, from start-ups to large corporations. His hands-on experience building and leading private and public companies provides real-world knowledge to help today’s executives create custom-made solutions and strategies.
An avid surfer, snowboarder, runner and world traveler, Norb has lived in Southern California since 2000 after working in New York City and Washington, D.C.
Norb holds a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park. Norb also attended The Lawrenceville School. He serves on several boards and is a frequent guest speaker at conferences and events.
Justice Provost
Justice Provost serves as a Project and Marketing Manager since joining LTC in January 2022. A marketing major from Northern Arizona University, Justice leads LTC’s strategic benchmarking and base compensation efforts. He also serves as LTC’s lead marketing manager, directing the company’s digital and social media initiatives.
Kal Peters
Kal Peters manages LTC Performance Strategies’ Northern California office and serves as the organization’s Practice Leader for Business Essentials Training and Communication. Over the last 15+ years, Kal has played a key role in the design, development, training and communication of leading-edge programs to improve employee engagement/productivity, financial performance and organizational culture. She has also partnered in developing/implementing customized Performance & Growth Systems linked to company performance, and provides the training and communication needed to successfully implement these performance improvement initiatives. Kal also works with client organizations in developing and implementing simple, practical tools for communicating with employees effectively in order to improve productivity, culture, and organizational value.
Prior to joining LTC Performance Strategies, Kal held executive roles with Dun & Bradstreet and World Savings, and has developed and implemented dozens of classes for Executives, Managers, and Supervisors. Kal received her Bachelor’s Degree from UCLA. She is co-author of the book: “Think Inside the Box: The Secret to Partnering with Your Employees to Drive Growth and Profit.”
Zach Hanks
Zachary Hanks currently serves as Associate Consultant. Since joining LTC in 2017, he has supported a wide range of private, publicly-traded, and non-profit organizations. These initiatives include benchmarking base, sales, short & long-term compensation & benefits/ perquisites; and the analysis, design, development, and implementation of executive compensation, base pay structure, short & long-term incentive plans and performance management/development programs.
Zachary’s passion is to develop solutions that allow clients to utilize their Total Compensation Program to attract and retain top caliber talent while remaining externally competitive, internally equitable, realizing a strong pay-for-performance relationship and achieving a solid return on investment.
Zachary holds a Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Political Science/ Policy Management from California State University, Northridge and an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from College of the Canyons.
